Yes, this is a series based on vampires, but let's not jump to any conclusions yet. You'll see that I rated animation/entertainment as excellent, and that's because it's tops. All fans of blood/gore samurai action will love this series. The beautiful use of color and smooth motions of the action scenes will keep you coming back for more. The story and dialogue took a major hit though when the animation team decided the series was gonna get cut short. So we have a well laid out story for the first 8 or so eps, only to be skewered by shortness of the series. You have you classic evil villain set out to destroy anything in it's path to find the answer to immortality. That's where Kuro and Kuromitsu come in. Kuro falls in love with Kuromitsu after shortly meeting her. Even after finding out she's a vampire, he stays loyal and becomes like her kind to remain with her. It's only shortly after Kuromitsu is taken by the company in hopes they can find a solution to eternal life. Kuro makes new friends and encounters many battles in his quest to find his loved one. For a whole 12 episodes, this series it tops.
