Pretty dark in its background plot with twists, action, horror, sarcastic to sadistic humour, and excellent artwork, this is a great piece for everyone who wants an anime with gothic appeal. Beautifully designed characters and character dynamics. The BL appeal isn't quite as heavy as is rumoured ;) Differs slightly from the manga, but still easy to appreciate in itself.
