Summary:
Kimi ni Todoke is about a girl named Kuronuma Sawako. She is nicknamed Sadako (from the ring) because many people see her as strange and often mistake her for a ghost. A boy called Kazehaya kun becomes her friend and, to her, is "100% refreshness."errorsource
Kuronuma Sawako is nicknamed Sadako due to her resemblance to the girl from the Japanese horror movies "The Ring". Shunned by her classmates, her life starts to change as she befriends Shōta Kazehaya, a very popular boy in her class.
Kuronuma Sawako’s one wish in life is to make friends. That’s a difficult proposition when everyone who meets her cowers in terror. She admires her classmate, Kazehaya-kun, a popular, easygoing and 100% refreshing guy who is nice with everyone, even with her.
First off... enough with this "FRANCIS" crap I'm sick of reading sh*t that's not related to the anime and serves no purpose but to waste space. (Freakin' retards...)
On with the review. There is a big fanbase for this anime and there is good reason for it. This anime is well drawn, the story is simple enough yet very entertaining, the voice acting is amazing, and the soundtrack is catchy and suits the scenes well. The story may drag a little but I guess its a small price to pay for character development. Light and funny, I suggest you try it out even if you're not into shojou anime.
