Summary: Erin-chan is the young 10 year old daughter of Soyon-san. She is an outsider in a village that takes care of the Grand Duke's military might, the toudas. Her mother, Soyon-san, is an outsider vet brought in to take care of the toudas. Erin-chan encounters many problems and learns many new things while aspiring to become a vet, like her mother, who cares for the all important toudas.

Definitely one of the most beautifully animated animes i have ever watched. All the scenery is hand drawn and painted with watercolours, which is very refreshing. The story is very relaxing and nonchalant, with some action here and there to keep things moving. If you like Spice and Wolf and other similar animes, you're gonna love this one. The music is nice and the characters are simply charming. Kemono also has its humourous moments. The subs are OK, they could be better but they are easy to read and understand. This is definitely one of those lighter animes, so if you're an action buff you may want to steer clear of it. Also, It may seem boring to begin with, but it gets more and more interesting when the story picks up. If you are open to this kind of anime, I say definitely give it a try. I highly recommend it!
