Because of this, racing groups from all over the Gunma prefecture issue challenges to Takumi to see if he really has what it takes to be a road legend.

I remember watching Initial D a couple years back, and at the time I really loved it. It was quick paced enough to keep me interested, the animation was pretty decent, and the storyline was pretty good. I never did finish it though, I lost interest in the last season for some reason. If you enjoy cars and have ever tried to drift your car this series is awesome. If you don't like cars then don't bother the story may be good, but not enough to keep you watching the entire thing.
