Summary:
The story takes place in Japan in the early 21st century, in an alternate reality where the Tokugawa Shogunate has remained in power. In this reality, student councils are tasked with oppressing schools. Yagyuu Muneakira is a high school student who rebels against his student council with the help of girls who've had the names of famous samurai heroes passed on to them.
I think this anime has awesome potential but failed to achieve it, the start of the anime was really intriguing with the settings, situations and different personalities, but around half way though it just lost it, the story fell to shit, the personalities changed, the new people introduced had little if any impact on the story, there isn't many climax's thoughout the anime.. and the ending was somewhat disappointing.
the animation was really unique kinda like it was created with a paint brush which was something i really liked, compared to the perfectness of newer anime it is nice to see something like this or ergo proxy.
The beginning was really entertaining the difficult and awkward situations the characters are placed in it funny, but as the anime goes on it looses it fun filled feel, and tries to be serious but doesn't reach it in my opinion.
I would recommend to those looking for a change of animation styled anime, or just bored.
