Summary:
The story takes place in Japan in the early 21st century, in an alternate reality where the Tokugawa Shogunate has remained in power. In this reality, student councils are tasked with oppressing schools. Yagyuu Muneakira is a high school student who rebels against his student council with the help of girls who've had the names of famous samurai heroes passed on to them.
First off I gotta say that the animation is tight I've never seen anything like it, except for the street fighter movie with Juri. The whole ink thing is cool. Now for the bad news, this started off like it was going to be hard you see girls flying on planes slicing them to pieces and everything. But as soon as the story start to progress I'm like why am I watching this.
Its the same old girls with annoying high ass pitch voices and their hardly any action in this anime. If they do fight its only for like the last five minutes of the episode. This show was more comedy then anything. And I think its just stupid for a girl to kiss somebody to awaken their hidden powers why can't they train or have it from the get go. I ain't going to say to much but the whole concept was stupid to me. Also this show has alot of fanservice so if your into that they have it, but they do cover it up with ink so I don't know you'll feel about that.
I'd say check it out for the animation cause that's the best thing about the show, you may like it or might not.
