Despite the fact I watched this many many years ago, I can still remember the heartache I felt watching this short movie. I think we can all relate to the fact that we use all forms of technology to connect with people we love. The protagonists in this anime use the cellphone to send each other messages while following their own dreams. What gripped me the most is the patience the lovers have. The waiting kills and yet they continue forward with their relationship. Note the dialogue and you will sense a lot of longing and perhaps a bit of hopelessness in their circumstance. Together with great style and music, this short movie will truly make you want to cry. I did.
