Review:
Now being a HUGE horror fan, I've seen my share of zombie flicks. Now the thing they usually have in common is the fact they have very little or a bad story and ALLOT of gore or both in some cases(See land/day of the dead). This story though, Is somewhat a weird one. It's shown in a "as it happens" prespective, but they all seem to be the memories of the protagonist. From this prospective it'ss good and very interesting, because if it's actually all happening as a memory or as a 3rd person, You can consider what YOU'D do in that situation if it were to arise. The animation, well it's good, I mean it's perfectly on par with anything else out atm.. So eh. I'm not really a fan of the Ecchi but it's watchable without thinking it's WAY over the top unless you're overly sensitive, And if that's the case. WHY ARE YOU WATCHING ZOMBIE ANYTHING in the first place?

The dialog gets kind of how to put it.. Hmm, it is all just "we're going here to do this and blah blah blah". It's all to planed out, It just doesn't really work, In a crisis situation, things don't work like that. *Shrugs* I just found it hard to believe I guess.

All in all, Hightschool of the dead is a GOOD story. And it's portrayed in a good way. It's not your average Zombie series/flick where it's more about splattering corpses thanthe actual story. If you can get past the ecchi and look into teh story, you'll probably enjoy this.
