pros
+ brilliant animation and action with a variety of weapons
+ lively characters
+ voice actors are spot-on and deliver the dialogue well
cons
- "done before" feel to it
- reminds too much of code geass
- story could be better (changes pace, and the mc can be irritating)
conclusion: not something to go for for intense, intriguing, complex plotlines (especially if you've seen code geass), but something that'll keep you entertained if you're merely in for some good dialogue and intense animation and action with a variety of weapons. though it's a mecha, no requirement of being a mecha otaku to understand it. personally, it's not among my favs. too many issues with the storyline -- and i watched code geass before, lol. still, it's intriguing enough for the action/supernatural lovers not minding a somewhat mixed bag where it comes to storyline.
