I try not to review things before they are done with about 3 episodes but this one had to be reviewed.
Conceptially this story isnt good. The Reason why is its just Code Geass. Student in school gets mixed up with Terrorists to save Japan from evil threat (western I might add) though Unlike code Geass doesnt seam to have the balance (aka Luluouch was from Britania itself). Whats worse is its so confusing.. I mean the general story is easy to fallow but who the characters are and why they relate is just random at first. However over all the story delivers on an emotional level and they have brought somewhat of a new story..
The Dialogue is fast paced to say the least and I found it VERY thin. I give it a good rating because the actors simply diliver it well and it makes perfect since what is going on from their perspective. Not stunning but overal the actors are well chosen and do well.
Animation. The download I had was glitchy so it might be unfair. I found the Animation though overal Average. Some spactacular visuals in the weapons but the cities where bla.. so not sure overal but it was good. Better than your Average Anime at least while the humans are not to thin ( a problem in Code Geass) and overall they fit well.
Entertainment... Honestly by the reviews I was expecting somthing epic. But based on how (Again) Code Geass started Im willing to give this 5 episodes before I put the hammer down on it. Overal its a tight script that is fairly Clitche while offering some dramatic feal to it definantly. I found it fairly Enertaining despite its amost clockwork feel. Defenantly the weapons in the series are original as far as Mechs and bio or phycic weapons go. Which gives this series a long way to go in options trying to make it better....
For a starter I found it fairly confusing or perhapes rushed is the word but I aslo found it concise and impactful thats a fair oxymoron but it fits it well. Its probably a series you have to see for yourself to decide.
To be fair- I was a little disapointed but Im still thrilled about the idea of seeing more of what it has to offer yet again another oxymoron but I feel this series at least in review will have a lot of those :)
