Gantz tells the story of Kei Kurono and his friend Masaru Kato who die in a train accident and become part of a semi-posthumous "game" in which they and several other recently deceased people are forced to hunt down and kill aliens armed with a handful of futuristic items of equipment and weaponry.
This sounded very odd to me at first, but it became the sort of potato-chip thing. I couldn't just watch one. If you are worried about the erotic nature, don't be. It's definitely for MATURE AUDIENCES, but, only because it's so honest. The sexy intro was just a means to reveal the intimate relationship the viewer will have toward the main charactor, altough there are supposed to be three, the main charactor is obviously Kei.
The story line gets even more intimate with the introduction of the newer charactors, and the old ones as the story progresses. (Although, it's very confusing where it's going) They never really answer the right questions, only give you just enough to want to see what happens next.
VERY ENTERTAINING. The action, the emotion - your's and their's - theconfusion you and they experience together, well, you end up yelling at the screen what to do next, but they never do what you think they should.
Give it a try, I promise satisfaction.
