Summary:
The Japanese Ministry of Defense has an anti-paranormal special forces group called the Paranormal Disaster Countermeasure Headquarters. They're the ones responsible to protect Japanese soil and its people from supernatural and paranormal events. However, things didn't go so well in one of their missions, which leads to intervention by the Ministry of Enviroment's Supernatural Disaster Countermeasures Division after the PDCH has sustained large numbers of casualties battling demons.
When I started watching this series, I loved it. It has a unique plot that gets you hooked, it has great character development, it has intense actions scenes, great music, and even a little comedy and romance sprinkled here and there. Not to mention that it was great breather from the usual main character guy that always has the same exact personality and is surrounded by a bunch of girls. But after the series was finished, I was a bit disappointed. It's not like one of those endings that just cuts off because they couldn't figure out to resolve it or anything but it kind of seems like it was cut short because there were a few things other than the main story arch that were left unresolved. But I did a little bit of homework and it seems as though this series is prequel to the manga. Also, there is a possibility that someday there might be a second season, but there still hasn't been any announcements on one yet... But either way I still would recommend this series for anyone looking for a something more unique and if youโre looking for more of a short story rather than a huge long epic one with tons of fillers n such. It really was a great story and it kept me hooked from the very beginning and I found myself watching episode after episode. So give it a try!
