Very average.

This show did not impact me as much as did Fullmetal Alchemist. The direction of the story is just wrong (I DON'T CARE IF ITS A PERFECT ADAPTATION OF THE MANGA, IT'S JUST WRONG FOR ME)

The story was pretty interesting, two guys losing body parts after trying to resurrect their mother with alchemy, then they decide to find the philosopher stone to restore their bodies.

Interesting shits happens (new friends, character development, secret discovered, some random nice fights to make this show entertaining even more). Then suddenly the "real" villain appears, some random shounen vilain who wants unlimited power and take over the world for some unknown reason.

Everything is perfect in FMA:B until the "real" plot is revealed, everything went downhill from there. They don't want to restore their body parts but are trying blindly to find a way to stop the bad guy. The thing is : THEY DIDN'T DO SHIT IN THE END.

Some weird deus ex machina happens (oh sorry it was explained, so it's not really deus ex machina but anyway...) and the bad guy gets owned.

Happy ending.

No fucking connexion between the first part of the story and second one. Character development had absolutely no effect on the event of story, the comedy is misplaced and is not even funny because it gets repetitive. Some character are just silly for a show that was suppose to be serious. The Ishbalan war was a fucking joke in Brotherhood, in FMA it was one of the most sad thing that ever happened. Al and Ed are almost background character in the story since they focus to much on all the characters.

I'm laughing so much when people think this show shits over Fullmetal Alchemist when in fact this average show is just a mockery compared to awesomeness of Fullmetal Alchemist. It's still good, but Fullmetal Alchemist is better.

Not to mention that the animation and art is weaker in brotherhood.
