Fairy tail for me is one of the best animes out at the moment. I love the perfect combination of action and comedy and for once the female characters aren't whiny and annoying, which is a great plus. All the characters are well written and the story is just brilliant. I usually wouldn't go for this type of animation but fairy tail managed to convert me. So I would encourage people who are putting this off because of the art style to give it a go and you will be hooked from the first episode.
