Summary:
A young woman, by some strange occurrence, was left to die alone in the former building of the Academy for Sincere Teachings. Mysteriously, there is one person who can see her in ghost form: Niiya Teiichi, a freshman. Now they both seek to find out the reasoning behind her death, and what could have caused it.
As you know with Dusk Maiden of Amnesia, Yuuko is a ghost with no memory of how she died. The show started out really good, especially with the first episode and how its shown from 2 different perspectives. However the middle of the series the story kinda halts from here to there not really progressing. Toward the end of the series, when the pace picks back up, the show gets really interesting again and results in a very pleasing ending, which turned out to be rather emotional. The animation in Dusk Maiden is very well done. With the lighting from the setting sun, to how they use a watercolor-like animation style to help explain things and give a lighter touch to the show. For people who are skeptical about watching this show, I say go for it! It might get a little boring in the middle of the series but you should totally stick it out, the ending is totally worth it!
