Overshadowed by the original

The main cast is plain and has absolutely no chemistry. The few interesting characters have about one or two episodes of character development. The entire plot could have been aborted at nearly any time had the characters confronted the source of the current problems instead of just the problems. Couple this with a very anticlimactic ending and you get a sludge of mediocrity.
