Seven kids are transported to the Digital World, a strange place where digital creatures called "Digimon" reside. A group of Digimon soon befriend them and keep the kids out of harm's way. The children then become the Digidestined, or Chosen Children, which protect the Digital World from evil Digimon like Devilmon and Myotismon.

I love watching old animes from the 90's, it brings back so many memories. I love even more to return to these stories and watch them relatively uncensored and in their original language. It's interesting how the dialogue and story flowed so much nicer and made so much more sense in Japanese than it did in english. For me at least, plus it was fun to watch one of my favorite voice actors (Takahiro Sakurai) in an early role (Tentomon). The story was as engaging as ever, and despite it being over 50 episodes long, I really didn't want the first season to end. It was also great experiencing the original themes sung by Wada Kouji and Ai Maeda, Butterfly is almost too catchy! Watching the Japanese version digimon was such a treat for me, It made me fall in love with the series all over again. Next on the list, Pocket Monsters!!!
