Deadman Wonderland is the perhaps the most brutal, bloodiest and inhumane anime i have ever watch. In case the title doesn't give it away its about an private amusement park where criminals are forced to play horrific and death-defying games for others amusement and for those who yearns for more brutality there is an underground fights between inmates where the losers pay a penalty game where they lose one of their bodily part or organ. Everything about this anime is fresh and definitely unique from the concept of "Deadman", people who are infected with a "worm" that allows them to turn their own blood into weapons, to the mystery surrounding the Wretched Egg and the event called the "Red Zone" not to mention that the anime didn't shy away from actually showing how the characters dies! (yup each episode features bodies being slice, dice, burned, crushed ,blown etc...) This anime features insanely cruelty and brutality you could ever imagine and the fact that most people actually enjoys watching it makes it all the more twisted. Some characters are also quite interesting and each has their own twisted past to tell and it's interesting to watch the main character, Ganta, struggles to keep his own sanity while keeping up with the eccentric Shiro. However, i feel like the story was to too fast paced to be appreciated fully, the underground fights weren't really memorable and too short. Though there are a wide number of Deadman only a few of them we're actually shown using their powers fully in fact most of them died during the prison break which i think is a bit sloppy and not well thought off. Though the story is far from over there is still a lot things to look forward too and if you're looking for something that will keep you on the edge of your seats every episodes this might be the anime for you.
