DTB = Cowboy Bebop on Earth

Firstly, allow me to say that I liked the second season of this series more than the first because the second series was more coherent and was more distinct from other series. In a nut shell, Darker than Black is Cowboy Bebop except that the rag tag team of bounty hunters is now a cell that works for a syndicate on Earth. The music is extremely similar (duh right? both were done by Yoko Kanno), the fight scenes and animation style are similar, both shows lacked a coherent story line and instead focussed on new bounties or missions every episode, the protagonists of both series are probably best friends... The point being, the show is alright but I will always view it as a lesser version of Cowboy Bebop.
