Darker than black's ok, the storyline is great but what is lacking is a proper foundation for it. with phenomena like "Hell's Gate" , the false sky and the contractors' relation to the stars remaining unexplained throughout the series, the initiated and the unintiated alike may find themselves utterly lost at times.
Animation is top notch tho, as is the dialogue. But so much more could have been done with the storyline.
