n Tokyo, an impenetrable field known as "Hell's Gate" appeared ten years ago. At the same time, psychics who wield paranormal powers at the cost of their conscience also emerged. Hei is one of the most powerful of these psychic agents, and along with his blind associate, Yin, works for one of the many rival agencies vying to unlock the mysteries of Hell's Gate.
First off this prob one of the best "dark" anime's i have seen in a long time. It was like Saprono's meets bleach. It supernatural and powers based but its not horribly crazy like bleach or naruto can get. They don't keep getting stronger and stronger and stronger to the point where they can do everything aside from shooting fireballs out their butt. The story is sad but very well thought out, other then the first 3 episodes it kept me very interested and i kept downloading episode after episode. For you drama/romance people it has tons of that to surprisingly, it was refreshing for me cause it shows how a group of people that have a common problem that causes discrimination can come together and overcome differences. Biggest suggestion i can give is when you hit season 2 and 3 i really suggest watching the Ova's before the regular episodes. When i watched season 2 i made the mistake of watching the normal episodes first and it didnt make all that much sense. When i watched the Ova's for season 2 it made complete sense and seemed to me that you needed to watch the Ova's first. All in all a very good anime and worth the time to watch.
