This OVA, while short, is still one of the best ones I've seen in awhile. First off the story is definately interesting, but unlike alot of animes that we have now. Also the animation is very vintage looking, but it goes along with the story which is set back in the Irish Revolution, plus this is from 1999 so that is a factor in the animation looking the way it does as well. Through the story you mostly hear the little girl talking and The Black Swordsman oly speaks a few times, but all and all it just makes it more mystyrious. It is a very good OVA, worth the watch and it looks good in AMVs for all you video makers out there like me. :)

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
