Status:
Completed
Summary:
The City Hunter's adventures continue with a complicated case of protecting an up-and-coming young idol from a stalker. Normally this would be like letting the fox guard the hen house, but fortunately even an infamous pervert like Ryo does not go for minors. But when the same culprit goes after Kaori as well, even Ryo is shaken. He finally has to get serious, even if his choice of methods is characteristically unorthodox.
There are actually 63 episodes to this season. Followed by two other seasons. City Hunter 3 is 13 episodes. The other one is City Hunter '91 which is also 13 episodes.
It was a very entertaining anime though. I liked the investigative aspect mixed with just the right amount of action and comedy. The Animation isn't the best I've seen, but that is only if I compare it to current animation standards. The story has a little room for improvement, but only along the lines of character development, but it is refreshing sometimes to watch something that doesn't have tons of main characters, and if the story is centered around one character is usually doesn't get sidetracked by random adventures or a tremendous amount of backstory.
