Summary: Cardfight!! Vanguard is Japan's latest TCG card game. Which it brings both mangaka authors together to develop this unique and interesting card game.

The game uses many similar elements from other card game animes such as Yu-Gi-Oh! (Draw 5 cards at beginning, draw 1 every turn, player that goes first can't attack). TCG games like these have been very successful in Japan and in many countries.

Every card related tv show or game based thing seems to revolve around saving the world :/. Vanguard how ever is just kids playing a card game and having to deal with things that relate to that, some people might not find it as entertaining as other card game animes but for me it refreshing to see the main charatcer and story are relatable instead of being about saving the world.
