Personally, I've been thinking why did this anime get poor ratings. I mean, come on, this is not all bad. The animation's good enough, and the characters are moe with a not-too-heavy story. You can say this as the Mecha-version of Nichijjou. Yeah, about the Busou Shinki's everyday life. So for those who likes to relax, you can try watch this.
But the story might not be the exact what people wanted this to be. I understand that this type of anime is supposed to have action genre. This anime lacks a rather serious conflict, and I think the plot also lacks something. The Masters. If the Master isn't just only one, this anime will tell us about the life of the Busou Shinkis and their Masters. That may change the impression of the story. But the Master in this Anime is only one. Thus, the story becomes the life of only the Busou Shinkis.
I'm sorry if there are any grammar mistakes above, and I hope you readers will understand what I really meant.
