This review is after finally reaching the seventh episode in this series. Firstly, CLAMP happens to be one of my favorite animators, so when I saw that this was made by CLAMP, I wanted to give it a shot. Secondly, I'll have to admit that I didn't know this was following the Blood+ franchise; I was assuming it was just something new that CLAMP was doing and the name just happened to be Blood-C. But even so, I was willing to patiently wait a few episodes before I stopped watching it and I'm glad I did.
Blood-C is frustratingly slow in the first several (I'll say several because even though some things were revealed in previous episodes, it wasn't enough to spark an interest) episodes, but the seventh episode finally gave the "hint" that I needed to try and watch the next episode. Just as some reviewers thought, I was very skeptical with the Protagonist because she seemed too much like an air-head, but I'm beginning to think that something may take a twist in the plot soon and will explain most of everything that leads up till now.
The one thing I can definitely say: Don't give up on this anime; I plan on sticking it out and watching the rest because I'm finally excited to see what might happen next and I think that CLAMP will finally give me another story to add to my collection.
