| Summary: |
Kurosaki Ichigo is a 15 year old boy that has an ability to see ghosts/spirits. Because of his ability, he is able to meet a female death god (a.k.a Shinigami) named Kuchiki Rukia. To save his family and friends from unwanted soul-eating spirits (Hollows), Rukia transfers her Shinigami powers to Ichigo. As Rukia takes on a human shell, together they solve mysteries involving spirits and hollows until from the spirit world comes 2 other shinigamis explaining that it is illegal to transfer Shinigami powers to humans and Rukia exceeded the time limit to stay in the human world. After they sentence her death for breaking the laws, Ichigo snaps and swears to everyone he will retrieve Rukia by breaking into the spirit world. |

this anime is a must see period. it is one of my top 5 is anime i watch and i watch a lot of anime. my top 5 include fullmetal alchemist, d-gray.man, naruto, bleach and all 3 yu-gi-oh!s this of course is only 5 out the 30 so or more anime's that i love. this 5 however should give you an idea of what to expect if you have watched any of the 5 i have mentioned and loved them. bleach is an amazing anime to say the least and i'm sure i don't have to say that. it's so popular now it's crazy. if you like shinigamis saving souls and using amazing magical abilities while doing so then you'll love this anime. full of adventure, action, romance, comedy, suspense, love, death, wins and losses, blood and violence, mystery, and good old demon (hollow) kicking butt. the main character ichigo is wellrounded with a strong head on his shoulders and never knows when to completely give up when it comes to protecting people he loves. fantastic story, characters, and animation. enjoy.
