| Summary: |
Kurosaki Ichigo is a 15 year old boy that has an ability to see ghosts/spirits. Because of his ability, he is able to meet a female death god (a.k.a Shinigami) named Kuchiki Rukia. To save his family and friends from unwanted soul-eating spirits (Hollows), Rukia transfers her Shinigami powers to Ichigo. As Rukia takes on a human shell, together they solve mysteries involving spirits and hollows until from the spirit world comes 2 other shinigamis explaining that it is illegal to transfer Shinigami powers to humans and Rukia exceeded the time limit to stay in the human world. After they sentence her death for breaking the laws, Ichigo snaps and swears to everyone he will retrieve Rukia by breaking into the spirit world. |

Bleach is the best anime I've seen. The story and dialogue are both amazing that you never get bored and I've become attached to all the characters especially Kurosaki Ichigo. It has different genres and that what makes it unique; for example we sometimes see them at battle, and other times we see them relaxing and in a comic situation; which shows us both side of each of the characters and which make them more realistic and wonderful to watch, because if each character shows just one type of emotion it would’ve been boring and like some other animes. I've learned many moral lessons from this anime and it made me see things in a different way. The animation is simply outstanding! The look of each character matches its personality! And the animation of the supernatural society is stunning! Very entertaining! I recommend it to everyone!

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
