The story follows the "strongest juvenile delinquent", Oga Tatsumi, a first year in "Ishiyama High" the school for delinquents. One day while sleeping next to a river he sees a man floating down it, he pulls him to shore and the man splits in half revealing a baby boy. This boy is the son of the demon king and he has been chosen as the one to raise it with the baby's demon maid Hilda. The story follows his life with the child and at the delinquent school.

Take a series like Katekyou Hitman Reborn and compare the first few episodes with the latest episode and you will realise that the series became tense later on... which made it a bit... well, tense. Now take a total idiot of a character who is also crazy strong, a cute baby who is disturbingly naked, has some parts disturbingly moving around and who is also a demon, a crazy chick who is the baby's maidservant, a disturbingly gay acting guy, a perverted friend of the main character and the cute Kunieda Aoi (whom I totally love) and spice it up with a bit of action fighting scenes and you have Beelzebub. This series is awesome because of the awesome comedy stunts it can pull up, puns like Kekkon (marriage) and Kekkon (bloodstains). The summary might seem like a drag but the series is worth every second you watch. It makes you laugh so hard your cheeks start to pain due to laughter. uptil now the series hasn't been tense which is what makes it different from your run of the mill shonen anime. The bad point which I could find is that the baby is naked... which takes a while to get used to, also Alaindelon is a disturbing character but he is responsible for some of the funniest scenes of the series. Though I'm afraid this series is slowly taking the path of becoming serious and going the Bleach way I only hope that I'm proved wrong over the course of the anime as this series is definately worth the watch.
