Summary: |
Advanced placement into a school of higher grade proof-reading is determined by the results of the Promotion Test strictly for class type. Ranging from A class with the best facilities anyone can offer all the way down to F Class which is composed of low dining tables, rotten tatami mats and other worn out facilities. Students can change classes by competing using the Examination Summons Battle system or ESB. Students summon characters with their equivalent test mark scores and use them to compete with other classes. |

what got me was the name. it was like, what the hell?
but that was all the opening you need. it's got superb animation, the dialog's tip top, but most of all, its stupidly funny! (no pun intended!)
its about a school where people are put in classes according to heir entrence exam results, and have the according facilities to their skill level. class f looks like its falling apart and a looks like its from a 5 star hotel advertisment.
the plot gets moving along when the students of class f get the ambition to win over class a, to prove thta brains arent't verything (there's this battle system, like in ff or something where their makrs translate to their attack power and health, and they can have battles, which, if you win, means you get to trade facilities)
well. thats the idea. half the fun of the series is the stuff the kids of class get up to, and the ridiculous ways in which they do it!
the best thing about it is that most of the episodes (not the last ones) basically work as stand alones, so while its awesome, you don't get that MUST-WATCH-IT-ALL-AT-ONCE thing you sometimes get, but can savor it slowly. which trust me, you'll want to do.
it ends on great note, really ramming up the inensity in the last few eps, and is just the right length without the humour getting samey or boring!
only complaint would be that a few of the romantic interests where left unattended in the end.
