A new favorite!

Every bit of this anime is extremely unique and memorable. I watched it for the second time and it's just as filled with action and emotion as I recall - worth watching again and again.
Parts of the ending do seem a little out of place, but by then you gain a real fondness for the characters. There are a few minor holes in the plot, but these are negligible when you look at the intensity of the characters and their world. It could have been strung out over several seasons with the amount of content in just these 13 episodes. They are very condensed so they move rather quickly and a LOT happens in each one. There's never a minute to be bored.
There are so many ups and downs, but the humorous interjections will make you laugh out loud against the heavy contrast of the sentimental tearjerker moments. What a ride! A must-watch!!
