Maybe I wasn't paying attention, but I thought this first episode was dry. The animation is good quality, the characters are boring and unemotional. I see other reviews saying the storying is "Fantasic" but I don't know which anime they're talking about, because this story is uneventful and recycled. Amnesia incorporates three of my favorite genres (romance, mystery, and supernatural) yet hasn't done anything with them. Understand this, the first episode of any anime should be the bait that catches the viewer attention just like you'd read in an essay or novel. This winter line-up was a let down.
